About Wat Ratchanadda
Wat Ratchanaddaram is a unique Buddhist temple built in 1846 that is best known for the multi-tiered Loha Prasat or Metal Castle, a 36m high structure of 37 black metal spires that represent the 37 virtues toward enlightenment. It is the third Loha Prasat ever built, similar to the earlier ones erected in India and Sri Lanka.
