About Wat Phra Kaew
The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, is considered the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand and is situated within the Grand Palace grounds. The temple enshrines Phra Kaew Morakot, the Emerald Buddha, a carving of Buddha meditating in yogic posture and made from green jasper and gold.
