I hosted a party for 30 people at the Villa San Giovanni earlier this year and while the food was very tasty the service was extremely slow. I asked on numerous occasions for more hands to assist our waitress with the taking of orders, bringing out plates etc but was ignored, even by the manager on duty. We waited an hour for the first round of drinks to arrive and while some of my guests had finished their main meals others were still waiting for their food. The manager refused to assist or take any responsibility and just sent the waiter to deal with complaints on her own. Will not see...
