About Wat Arun
Along with Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho, the majestic Wat Arun makes up the third cusp in the holy trinity of Bangkok's history. Also known as Wat Chaeng or the Temple of Dawn, the 82 m tower is decorated with elaborate floral mosaics made from Chinese porcelain. The top of the tower is reached via a particularly steep flight of steps – give it a miss if you’re afraid of heights.
