Dressed in vivid pink walls, plush leather booths, ambient lampshades and Mexican art, El Burro steers away from the traditional Mexican décor into a more sophisticated Mexican experience.

Located along the Green Point strip, diners enjoy a myriad of Mexican pleasures ranging from ceviche, which is made with the fish of the day and bursts of lime, coriander, chilli and pickled red onion.

Mains include a chocolate mole, the national dish of Mexico, as well as an array of soft corn tacos filled with chilli-battered line fish and braised short rib served with a spread of fresh guacamole, smoked and fresh chilli sauce, salsa and sour cream.
