About Trinity Church
This historic Episcopal Church in lower Manhattan became a symbol of hope and freedom after the 9/11 attacks, its perimeters adorned with messages and trinkets for those who lost their lives. The current Gothic version of the church was completed in 1846, and was once the tallest building in the city, although it’s now dwarfed by the skyscrapers of the financial district.
