Tucked away in the sleepy little village of Kommetjie is ‘The Green Room' – funky haunt of fabled surfers, grommets and locals up for hunger-busting big burgers, Cali-Mexican fare, breakfast in a bun and, of course, a good chinwag with their mates.
Proprietor Ollie and his crew are super relaxed and friendly – even your hound is welcome. Grab a block of surf wax at the Kommetjie Surf Shop next door before diving into some post-surf, wholesome grub and an ice-cold 'brewskie'.
