About Zur Alten Mine
Situated on the outskirts of Graskop and overlooking the beautiful Mpumalanga escarpment you will find our guest farm. The name Zur Alten Mine is German and means 'to the old mine'.
We offer our guests self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation in a peaceful environment surrounded by forests; excellent for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Our guest farm is ideally situated to explore the Panorama Route with its beautiful sites such as Gods Window, the Bourke's Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon. Pilgrim’s Rest, the old digger town, is just 10 km from us and even to the Kruger National Park is just a 45-minute drive away.
Our chalets are tastefully decorated with all the day to day amenities to ensure your comfort. They are fully equipped for self-catering and consist of a fireplace, private veranda or garden, a braai facility and an en-suite bathroom each. In addition, we offer a traditional German Continental breakfast on request in our comfortable breakfast room.
