Zarafa Tented Camp is a small, privately-owned wilderness tented camp offering undisturbed and authentic African safari experience.
It is built along the banks of Rufiji River, just five kilometres from the Mtemere Gate – Selous Game Reserve. The camp is for those with a special taste for solitude, in an exclusive bush ambience.
The camp is around 6-10 km away from the Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) gate. You can perform game drives and walking safaris inside the reserve. Also, we can offer you boat safari along the River Rufiji
Zarafa Tented Camp is a semi-luxury tented camp based in Selous Game Reserve. The camp is along the banks of River Rufiji.
We have swing area in the camp for children to play. The staff is also child-friendly. The camp is made in such a way to cater for children.
The camp is in a remote and secluded area along the river. There is space and bushes between the tents to offer privacy to couples on honeymoons, anniversaries or just to spend time together.
