About Willow Weir Cottage

Willow Weir Cottage, on Walkersons Country Estate , 14kms from Dullstroom, is one of the original stone houses, a magnificent 5 bedroom 5 bathroom luxury house. Graded 5 stars by the SA Tourism grading council. 2 hrs from Kruger and a perfect base to explore Mpumalanga. Activities include Fly Fishing on 4 Kms of river and 14 dams, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching and game viewing, Full DSTV package is available in the main lounge and in 3 bedrooms . Firewood supplied. The lights will never go out as a generator is hard wired to the house. A wonderful comfortable family home. Secure 24hr estate.

Our Housekeeper Ester will service the house daily she is onsite from 8.30-2.00pm to discreetly wash up, make beds clean bathrooms, reset fires and braai and generally make your stay more comfortable.

Ester offers babysitting services (evenings only) her rate is R75 ph min 3 hrs. Please arrange directly with Ester.

Coronavirus- Important Notice

We would like to assure you , our valued guest, that the house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between guests and "touch points" sanitised daily by Ester, our Housekeeper. She is the only staff member allowed in the house, is screened regularly and will always be wearing a mask for your protection and hers.

We are keeping a register of all guests for contact tracing. Hand sanitisers will be available in the house.

Regrettably, during this period, no early check-ins or late checkouts can be accommodated as to give the Housekeeper more than enough time to thoroughly clean.

★★★★★ Thank you, a lovely venue well equipped and a great location right next to the river - Enjoyed the evenings on the comfortable veranda with a lovely view, wine and candle lights and a warm cozy fire place.
