Situated along the tip of Inhambane’s coastline, White Sands Log Cabins offers an idyllic seaside getaway. It is a great choice for groups visiting this scenic part of Mozambique.

The resort has four lovely log cabins, of which two can accommodate up to six guests and two can accommodate up to eight guests. Each cabin has single and double beds as well as a private bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for all of your self-catering needs.

The more active guest can spend their days enjoying activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Guests hoping for a more relaxing stay can experience a sunset cruise, or simply just unwind on the beach.

The log cabin was quite a disappointment. First of all, it did not resemble any of the cabins or houses as featured in their listing. They were still busy with renovations, and there was no running water when we arrived (thankfully, that was resolved later in the day). The unit looked like a run down backpackers outfit (pity one cannot post pictures in the review section). And it is actually one house, divided into four units. I would strongly advise that you read this review. This is a poorly maintained venue with no water for 3 days, the smell of septic tanks, poorly maintained electric installations and appliances, mouldy kitchen area. Upon arrival we found that the deep freezer was not working. We complained and they replaced it. The poor electric installation cased all electrical appliances to shock you, by which Freddie (owner) replied "wear slops".
