A mere three hours from Johannesburg this gem offers a great escape settled in one of South-Africa’s best kept natural secrets. Breath-taking views of grasslands and wetlands, surrounds you whilst you are awaken by birdsong. The establishment offers luxurious rooms with that true country feeling. From the lounge and breakfast room you have a fantastic view of the nearby dam. The option of bed and breakfast as well as self-catering are available. Wetlands Country House & Sheds is home to a variety of bird life and magnificent views. Whether summer, autumn, winter or spring. The little town of Wakkerstroom is home to a number of amazing restaurants, ranging from fine-dining to amazing home cooked pub food. We invite you to come and experience the tranquillity and world renowned birding destination. All prices quoted do not include the cost of breakfast.

Conference Venues: Yes we can host an informal conference for 10 delegates. We do have a white board, and we do have Internet access.

Family friendly: There are very large open grass spaces for children to run around and explore nature. The dining area does have a children's high chair to make meals times easier for parent with small kids.
