Accommodation is provided in a choice of 2 large self-catering houses, each with a distinct theme. They are about 400 m from the river and the border with the Kruger National Park. Big 5 can sleep 10 to 12 guests and it comprises 2 family bedrooms upstairs and the main bedroom and 2 bathrooms downstairs.

One bathroom has a shower and the other has a bath. There is a toilet upstairs. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area. Four Seasons sleeps 8 to 10 guests and consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen, and an open-plan living area.

Additional facilities in both units include a TV with prepaid DStv on request, prepaid air-conditioning, ceiling fans, free Wi-Fi, a splash pool, and a braai area. The lodge is child-friendly and cots can be provided on request. There is also a small play area with a swing.

Activities in the area include game drives, game viewing, birdwatching, 4x4 trails, and hiking in the area.
