Wagtail Cottage sleeps one to two in our spacious loft area above our cottage, tastefully furnished with creature comforts and private space to relax in – all situated within walking distance from the center of Greyton village.
The loft is perfect for a couple needing a break in the country or someone staying over in Greyton for a night or two or more.

Please note the stairs that access the loft entrance – if you wish to avoid stairs then Wagtail’s loft is not a suitable stay.

Coffee lovers can bring their favorites as there is a Nespresso machine available.

The main bed is queen sized. There’s a modern TV, bath/shower, eating area, dishwasher and a kitchenette with a small fridge. Internet access with free wifi is included.

Greyton is an ideal weekend getaway with superb hiking and mountain bike trails. There’s also bowls, swimming, croquet and fly fishing. You can picnic along the Gobos River nearby, slow down and chat to the locals, visit the donkeys in their sanctuary, grab a yummy meal in one of the many local restaurants, do some sumptuous wine tasting or peruse the chocolates, treat the local horses with a carrot or two and enjoy the quaint beautiful scenery of Greyton’s country cottages on walks through the village. The local Saturday market is not to be missed or the shops for books, plants, clothing and furniture. All this and still time to get your feet up on the couch, a good book and a glass of wine to regain your inspiration and zest again.

The loft has off-street parking for at least two vehicles and has a private outside staircase to reach the door. Leave the car and explore, there’s so much waiting for you a short walk away.
