About Vlakbult Guestfarm Clocolan

The guesthouse was built in the 1800's and still has the original sand stone walls, wooden floors and high ceilings. It has a view of the Maluti Mountains and the surrounding crop fields and hills.

We have six rooms each with a unique rustic and cosy style. Clocolan is an important farming area specialising in asparagus, wheat, maize, grain, potatoes, wheat and cattle. Visitors to Clocolan can visit the Koranna Kloof Route 4x4 Trail or treat themselves to for local food at the The Cabin Farmstall and Deli.

Wedding Venues: Our wedding venue can accommodate 150 guests and it includes gardens, reception area and a variety of catering options. A small conference centre can be used as the chapel or a beautiful forrest where the bride and groom can get married.

Conference Venues: We have a venue that can accommodate 150 people and a conference room which can accommodate 40 people.

Family friendly: Our guesthouse has got very open spaces inside and outside where children can play as well as a swing and a slide and a hill to climb.

Romantic: Our honeymoon suite is situated next to a hill that guests can climb and on top there is a area where they can have a romantic picnic with a stunning view.

Good facilities and out of town. Very safe. Friendly and helpful staff. WiFi available. Well restored historic buildings. But be careful of the geese with new born young once!

Arrived at 21:45 at the location provided ,,no one answers your calls or messages ,we hade to turn back to bloemfontein as there were no other accommodation available for the night in town. After spending thousands on sponsorships for a fundraiser for the town this was a huge letdown..
