Vaal-Villa is a rustic vintage-style self-catering farmhouse nestled along the tranquil banks of the Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. Designed with space and comfort in mind, the villa features seven generously sized bedrooms and six bathrooms, making it ideal for groups of up to 16 adults. * No smoking indoors. Smoking is only allowed on the patios.
* No unregistered guests or events. Extra guests, day visitors, and celebrations (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, bachelor/hen parties) are not permitted without prior approval. Additional charges may apply.
* No pets allowed.
* Loud music is permitted in the inner courtyard and bar area. Keep noise in other areas to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
* Please do not move furniture. This helps protect our recently installed meranti flooring and antique furnishings.
* Helpful Tips
* Daily cleaning is included. Beds will be made, and bathrooms, kitchens, patios, the pool, and braai areas will be cleaned. Need extra assistance? Let us know; additional fees may apply.
* Towels: One bath towel and one hand towel per guest are provided for weekend stays. Please bring extra if needed.
* What to bring: Swimming towels, mosquito repellent, and plug adapters.
* Wi-Fi: Available. The password will be shared on arrival.
* Full DStv Bouquet.
* Load-shedding: Our solar system powers essential lighting during outages.
* Braai facilities: Gas and coal braais available. Please bring your coal and firelighters.
* Indoor fireplace & outdoor firepit: You're welcome to use them—just bring your firewood.
* Jacuzzi: Enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi! Please don’t adjust the thermostat (pre-set to 28°C) to prevent damage.
* Electricity: Avoid turning on all lights at once to prevent overloading the system.
* Rustic setting: Our lawns are cut weekly (weather permitting), but this is a natural, farm-style property—please don’t expect manicured gardens.
* Ongoing upgrades: We’re currently refurbishing window frames. While these works are ongoing, your comfort will not be affected.
