About Urban Hive Backpackers

Welcome to Urban Hive Backpackers.

We are a newly opened backpackers located in the heart of Cape Town on the best part of the infamous Long Street. Pubs, eateries and various shops are just beyond our door step. The hostel is located within a heritage building, has over a century of history.

The building boasts Victorian-style architecture with lots of character, 2 panoramic balconies overlooking upper Long Street; where it’s all happening and CCID security at our doorstep. We are located just minutes away from beaches, malls, Table Mountain and other attractions. We are also on the MyCity bus route and have cabs awaiting just outside the premises. We strive to provide our guests a safe, clean, comfortable environment with knowledgeable staff ready at hand; in order for them to enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer.
