Fishing from the embankment is good for salmon, bream, perch and grunter or we can take you out fishing in our ski boat where good catches of yellow tail, salmon, rock cod and many more species are easily boated. The famous Sandpit is at the mouth of the river and easily accessible by boat launched at our river site. This is also a great spot for shade during the summer season.
The sardine run in June and July is a special experience. If fishing is not your activity, we can take you on a sea safari to spot the dolphins, turtles or even whales in season. An easy launch site allows you to bring your own boat.
We have barge cruises on the river that are a special treat. Sunset booze cruises can be arranged and we have a restaurant that is located a few hundred metres up the river with a gorgeous deck overlooking the river. Access is by road or by river barge. Awaken to the sound of our resident fish eagles as well as many other birds and small animals such as the tree hyrax and the leguans.
