On the tidal shores of the famous Knysna Lagoon, lies a collection of 16 self-catering timber chalets, nestled amongst leafy vegetation and indigenous Milkwood trees. It is the only resort at the world-renowned Knysna Heads to have direct access to the beach.This tranquil resort offers guests a haven of leisure and comfort, and wonderful views of the lagoon with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.Each chalet has two bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences, such as a microwave, fridge and freezer, stove, TV and luxury Le Creuset cook
Under Milkwood is one of the few properties in the area with direct beach access. The lagoon's calm and shallow shores allow safe swimming and endless opportunities for water sports. Complimentary kayaks and paddleboards are available on the beach.
Beach equipment is provided for games for the enjoyment of the whole family as well as buckets and spades for the smaller members. Board games and the library of DVD’s are available for the quieter moments. Baby sitting services are available.

Cancellation
If cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, an admin fee will be charged
If cancelled 20 – 29 days prior to arrival 25% of the total accommodation will be charged
If cancelled 10 – 19 days prior to arrival 50% of the total accommodation will be charged
If cancelled 9 days or less prior to arrival or in the event of a ‘no show’, the total deposit will be forfeited
In the case of a refund, an admin fee will be charged.
