About Umziki Chalets
Umziki Chalets are situated on a hill with a view of the Jozini Pongolapoort dam. The camp consists of seven chalets, all of which are air-conditioned, with a private shower and toilet. Each chalet is equipped with a fridge and kettle, and coffee and tea are provided. The chalets are also serviced daily.All accommodation is self-catering and the camp has a fully equipped central kitchen and dining area with DStv. Important Information
The balance is to be paid not later than 14 days prior to your arrival. All bookings are to be paid in full prior to arrival. No monies will be taken at the camps unless by prior arrangement. Bookings cannot be guaranteed unless full payment has been made.
Please note :
Gate hours are strictly 06h00-18h00, as you are entering the Pongola Game Reserve. A gate fee of R20 per vehicle and R20 per boat is levied and payable before departure at the camp office. An Indemnity Form needs to be signed at the camp office on arrival. Gate keys cannot be given to guests to enter/exit the reserve outside of gate hours. The camp is enclosed by an electric fence, so please take care to only hold the opening clasp on the plastic cap. Wood, ice bait and some basic supplies are sold from the camp office. Regrets, but we do not allow day visitors. We do not have credit card facilities available.
