White Elephant Bush Camp & Umkhaya Cottage is located in the Pongola Game Reserve in the northern part of Zululand near the Swaziland border.UmKhaya is a private thatched cottage that sleeps, 6 guests (4 Adults and 2 Children). It has two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other two single beds and a double bunk bed. There are also two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and lounge area, a large patio and a outside braai area. It's walking distance from White Elephant Bush Camp. This cottage can be booked separately or as part of the Bush Camp.We offer game dri
Being in a reserve next to Lake Jozini offers spectacular scenery and enables us to offer river cruises and fishing and land safaris like game drives and walks. The river safari is like a game drive on the water, with views of crocodiles and hippos.
UmKhaya Cottage is a very comfortable little cottage in the bush fenced in within a bigger area and it has no stairs. The Cottage is deemed child friendly
We have an Essential services certificate to be able to host essential workers and safety and cleaning protocols are in place. Temperature measurement and a questionnaire required before check in. We require permits and Identity document copies.

Welcome to White Elephant Safaris. Here's what to expect:
White Elephant offers a truly unique South African safari experience with our variety of self catering accommodation and wide range of activities. We offer water based safari activities, the traditional land based activities as well as conservation theme activities.
We highly recommend the Tiger fishing and River Cruise on Lake Jozini. It offers fantastic sightings and scenery.
Kindly inform reservations of any specific interest you might have in terms of activities.
NOTE:
*PROPERTY IS STRICTLY SELF CATERING, ALL FOOD AND BEVERAGES MUST BE BOUGHT BEFORE ARRIVAL, AS THE CLOSEST SHOP IS 50 KM AWAY AND WE DO NOT HAVE A RESTAURANT ON THE PROPERTY.
*Check-in: From 14:00 on day of arrival and before 18:00. Check-out: Before 11:00 on day of departure.
*OUR GATE HOURS ARE STRICTLY 6:00-18:00 for the safety of our wild animals, staff, and guests.
*A Gate entry fee of R 25-00 per vehicle, payable in cash at the gate, is applicable.
*White Elephant reserves the right to refuse entry by latecomers.
