Book our two-night safari package, and enjoy everything that this beautiful area has to offer.
Day 1
Self-drive to St Lucia, a tiny community at the edge of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Gather for a briefing with your guide, and then get ready for a two-hour sunset boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary. Witness the hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a wide variety of estuarine birds. After dinner (at your own cost), head off for a two-and-a-half hour night drive straight into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Spend the night at a four star establishment in St Lucia.
Day 2
It's an early start to the day! Head over to the Umfolozi Game Reserve in an open game drive vehicle, and enjoy a breakfast set up in the bush; here, you will see the abundance of animal life in the area. Rolling hills, thick bush and open plains are the setting to view the Big 5, impala and giraffes. You will have a knowledgeable guide to hand, and you can take your time to find and observe all the exciting wildlife.
Lunch is a traditional South African barbeque lunch in the bush, or a picnic lunch (if inclement weather). Spend the evening at a four star establishment in St Lucia.
Day 3
Today we start a little later, with an 8.00 am pick-up, heading off to Cape Vidal on the hunt for marine life and the Samango Monkeys that are prevalent here. Snorkel in the protected bay (weather and low tide permitting), and discover stunning tropical fish species, hidden coves, and game fish. Stop for a picnic, and then head home with memories of those Samango Monkeys!
