Tsumeb Backpackers and Safari is situated in the city of Tsumeb, in northern Namibia.

The backpackers comprises of Eight twin rooms with their own ensuit bathroom and seperate entrance. All our rooms are fitted with air conditioning and fitted with luxury linen. The abode also offers its guests an outdoor braai area, a splash small pool, Wi-Fi Internet access and parking on the premises.

Attractions in and around the Tsumeb area include the Tsumeb Cultural Village, the Otjikoto Lake, and the Etosha National Park.

As research team with a small travel and accommodation budget we were grateful for a real "budget"-accommodation, a dormitory for the male members and an extra room for the female team member. The beds were in excellent conditions and the matrasses were first class! However, neon light in the kitchen did not work, no matches for the gas stove, water kettle not functioning. The worst? We did not get a receipt for half of the payment made via Safari Now, and will have difficulties to arrange for reimbursement from our institution. That was weird....
