Important Information
* Please note that the cut off time for check-in is at 17:00 pm.
* Please note that accommodation includes day tours at R300pp
* Any late arrivals needs to be communicated in advance.
* Note: The farm is a fully operational Wolf Sanctuary, and we need to take care of the wolves 24/7, but we do respect our guest's privacy at all times. Our staff do start to move around the Sanctuary from 07h30 in the mornings, but we won't enter your space before 09h00.
* Meat is meat, and wolves must eat. This is something to take into account when staying at a fully operational wolf sanctuary. There may be the occasional smell of meat in the air although we take extra precautions to keep their enclosures clean. If you're lucky, you may also see their next meal arriving on the back of a trailer. All their food arrives already dead, so no killing of any animals take place at the Sanctuary, don't worry. We process the meat at the Sanctuary but not in open view. Most of the Sanctuary residents are all vegan anyway!
* Nowhere do you have access into ANY of the wolf enclosures, ever. We are a non-touch facility. We do not allow any interactions with the wolves within their enclosures. We ask that you respect the wolves and their space by not being loud or shouting, playing loud music or teasing or feeding of the animals. Wolves are very skittish by nature and we try and keep them stress-free at all times.
* We will not tolerate any misconduct towards the wolves and we hold the right to ask you to leave the premises if we come across such or if you attempt to enter into any of the enclosures (they do bite!) Our wolves and their livelihood are our main priority and we make it our life's mission to give them the best stress-free and peaceful home that we can provide.
* Our water is brown, we have fresh Tsitsikamma water from the mountains, flowing into the river. The high iron content and tannins in the water stains anything white, e.g. baths, sinks, clothes, don't fret when you climb into a reddish brown bath of water. It is not unhealthy to drink, but can be unpalatable. We can provide filtered drinking water but if you can bring your own, this might be a good idea.
* No smoking inside the cabins.
* No pets permitted.
