About Tomjachu Bush Retreat
Tomjachu is an exclusive, family-owned private nature reserve set in over 550 hectares (1300 acres) of mountain bushveld where family, peace and nature embrace one another and special memories are forged forever. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, with family, friends, or your loved one, Tomjachu offers something for everyone. On our trails, tracks and roads you can hike amongst the abundant plains game and through mountains and valleys, mountain bike through the bush on easy or challenging routes, enjoy a nature drive or guided bushwalk with our experienced range
We offer self-guided hiking on the many miles of trails on the reserve, mapped and marked. Guests can also take a game drive with our knowledgeable guide with a drink included, or a guided walk amongst the abundant plains game.
The well-known Nelspruit golf course is only 15 minutes away. Leopard Creek golf course is only 45 minutes away
A 3rd generation family owned property, we welcome children of all ages. Families can explore the large reserve in safety as we have no dangerous game - child-friendly guided walks and drives cycling trails for all ages and abilities.
Wherever you stay, privacy is assured. In particular, Rock House and Keeper's cottage offer utter seclusion and privacy - quite simply blissful solitude. Both are nestled in private area of the bush with stunning mountain views

- Kindly note that we are located 4.5km on a gravel road - unsuitable for sports cars. The municipal gravel road [1,5 km. from the end of the tar before you turn onto our road] occasionally gets corrugated, so take your time.
