Toad Hall Self-catering Cottages is situated on a 10-hectare property in a secluded rural setting overlooking the picturesque Caversham Valley in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Toad Hall Self-catering Cottages is located 8.2 km from Piggly Wiggly Restaurant and Caversham Mill Restaurant.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 4 self-catering stand-alone guest cottages, each with a verandah with outdoor seating and lovely views, and its own garden. Some of the gardens are fenced in, (cottages 2, 3 and 4) making them pet friendly. The larger 2 cottages each comprise 2 en-suite bedrooms, a living and dining area with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The 1 smaller cottage comprises 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a living and dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each cottage is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels.

There is also a self-contained loft which sleeps a maximum of 2 people. It is accessed by an external staircase which leads onto a deck that contains a Weber braai and outdoor furniture. The loft has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating for viewing the flat TV that has selected DSTV channels. It is not suitable for pets.

Each kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave and a kettle and toaster, and each cottage has access to portable braai facilities on the verandah. A welcome tray of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk is provided. All linen and bath towels, together with firewood for the open log fires are supplied.

The cottage verandahs look onto landscaped gardens that attract small to medium-sized antelope, and a variety of trees which attract birdlife. Walks can be enjoyed in the forest and in the valley.
