About To Strand Holidays

The To Strand Holiday Resort offers charming self-catering chalets and camping accommodations, situated in a small, picturesque town named Leisure Bay, only 26 km south of Margate and 10 km north of the Wild Coast Sun.

The resort comprises self-catering chalets and spacious stands for camping. We also have a Rivertent which is ideal for glamping. The campsite has two ablution blocks (one of the bathrooms is disabled-friendly with grab rails), which are serviced daily. Each stand is provided with water and power points. Each chalet boasts a private en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, a TV with limited DStv channels, and a patio with a built-in braai/BBQ area.

Our intimate and private restaurant, The Bean Bag Cafe, is perfectly situated above our swimming pool with its crystal-clear water to complement any occasion. It comfortably seats 50 guests but can expand at a moment’s notice to any of our enclosed seating areas. It boasts its own fully licenced bar area. It is ideal for corporate events, conferences, weddings and school and church groups of all sizes. We also have a modern conference centre, equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and audio-visual facilities.

If you feel the need to do something off-resort, you can always enquire at our reception about booking exciting outdoor activities, tours and interesting things to do.

We are proud of our three-star grading, especially considering that we are one of the bigger resorts on the South Coast.

You are reminded to bring the following items with you:

* Your beach and bath towels, throw blankets, toiletries, dish cleaning materials, dishcloths and sponges.

- No more than 2 people permitted in a 2-sleeper, 4 people permitted in a 4-sleeper, no more than 5 in a 5-sleeper, 6 in a 6-sleeper and no more than 6 on a campsite inclusive of children (irrespective of age.)

- Arrival time: 14h00 & Departure time: 09h00

- Booking fee - Once-off amount (non-refundable):
* Chalets: Dec - 7 days: R400; 14 days: R620; 21 - 28 days: R730.
* Camping: Dec - 13 days: R400; 26 days: R620.

- Advanced bookings cannot be transferred to the forthcoming year unless the current booking did not take place due to unforeseen circumstances. The next person on the waiting list will then be given the opportunity to book.
