About Tierhoek Cottages

Private, romantic, self-catering cottages nestled at the foot of the majestic Langeberg mountains near Robertson. Less then 2 hours from Cape Town you can find peace and privacy. Each cottage is fully equipped and elegantly furnished with a private pool, wide verandahs, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and breathtaking views.

Tierhoek Farm, long with sister farm Spaarkloof Farm, is a working organic fruit farm. Here you will find apricots, peaches, lemons, quinces, mangos, clementines, satsumas and organic vegetables. There is also an abundance of wildlife from klipspringers and baboons, to porcupines and Jackal Buzzards and you may even hear the call of the leopard in the mountain.

Family friendly: Pools are all fenced Farm animals you can meet - donkeys, sheep, pigs

Romantic: Private cottages with their own plunge pools.

I really loved my time away. Everything was just right. But to be totally frank, I do think that it is priced just a bit too much. The cottage is more on the rustic side (which is fine - it suits me), but then one cannot be expected to pay R1400 per night.

We were looking for a place where we could clutch out from the city, spend some time together and God. As we entered the space we fell in love with it, all was thought about- from the notes and equipment of how to deal with the baboons to the candles and provided, it was well thought through. Of course the pool, outside shower, stoep and fire places were incredible. Thank you for making it special!
