About Tides River Lodge
Tides River Lodge lies on the banks of the Breede River, near Malgas, in the Cape. It is a short, scenic two and a half hour trip from Cape Town and only half an hour from Swellendam on the way to the Garden Route. Tides is an oasis in the dry wheatlands of the Overberg, an off the beaten track destination for those who enjoy something different. PLEASE BEADVISED: No Music allowed at all after 10PM. No Pets are allowed without prior permission.
TERMSANDCONDITIONS. Visitors agree to abide by the rules of Tides Lodge and ensure that in no way the quiet or general comfort of other guests are disturbed. We have a MUSIC policy that must be adhered to at all times. No fireworks may be brought on to or ignited/used on the property. Vehicles may not be driven on lawns, with the exception to of load baggage and equipment. All vehicles to be parked in designated parking areas. Furniture may not be removed from a lodge to be used outside. To secure a booking, 50% of the total is payable on confirmation. Balance payable before arrival. No booking will be seen as confirmed unless a50% deposit has been received by Tides Lodge. No Refunds for late arrivals or early departures. An additional breakage fee equal to the replacement cost will be charged for any equipment damaged or destroyed during your stay. The lodge will be checked after your departure. CANCELLATION POLICY Upto3 Months before arrival date90%of deposit refundable. 1Month before arrival date60% of deposit refundable. 2weeks before arrival date30% of deposit refundable. 1week before arrival date deposit is forfeited. OCCUPATIONTIME Please Note: ARRIVAL: AFTER 2pm –8pm, DEPARTURE: 11am Special arrangements for late arrivals must be made with the office staff.

INDEMNITY The Company and its management accepts no responsibility for any deaths, injury or illness sustained or suffered by any person, theft, loss or damage to any property, occurring within or arising from a visit or visits to the Tides Lodge howsoever cause whether allegedly due to negligence of Tides Lodge management or staff.
