The Retreat, located in Northern Selous, is a 12-suite exquisite hideaway that offers complete seclusion in the heart of remote bushlands. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife sanctuary in Africa and is widely accredited as being the most pristine wilderness and one of the secrets of Africa.The 12 tented suites have been constructed in three independent units to correspond with the surrounding habitat, whilst guaranteeing privacy and romance. Important Information
In order to reserve a booking, 50% pre-payment is necessary. The remaining payment has to be done 45 days prior to arrival date. We only accept bank transfers. Child rate of 50% is applicable from 2nd - 12th birthday. Below foc. There is a park and conservation fee of US$89 per adult per 24 h and US$ 66 per child per 24. Bednight levy of USD 1.50 pp/pd not incl. All rates are quoted in USD per person sharing, inclusive of VAT. There is a single supplement of 50% for accommodation.The rates are in Full Board EXCLUDING the full safari package.
Hippo Point is charged for exclusive use of up to 6 pax. Rates are valid from 1 November to 31 October, though may be reviewed semi-annually. The rates are in Full Board EXCLUDING the full safari package. Daily fees, gratuities, additional activities, boutique sales and emergency evacuations are not included.
