About The Lighthouse Guesthouse

The Lighthouse Guesthouse is situated in Welkom in the Free State. Perfect for guests looking for an escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

We haves four fully furnished bedrooms.Each room has either a double bed or a three-quarter bed and single beds, with an en-suite bathroom that has a shower, basin and toilet in each. The rooms have a TV with DStv, a fan and air-conditioning as well as a small fridge with tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a microwave, toaster and kettle.

Breakfast can be arranged, continental and English/Italian can be ordered on weekends and is made and served by the owner in the dining area. The guest house also has braai facilities to make use of, with secure parking available behind remote controlled gates,CCTV, Armed response Alarm and watch dogs for vehicles.

The Lighthouse Guesthouse is also driving distance to the technical college and technological institute, as well as the racing circuit on the outskirts of town, Casino, Restaurants, shopping malls and Nu Metro movie theaters.

Golf: Oppenheimer Golf course within 5 km from Guesthouse. Pakhisa Race course within 5 km. Metro movie house, Goldfields Casino, Restaurants, Fast-food, Pizza places and sports bars, all within 2.4 km.

Family friendly: Safe, quite with nice big garden. 70% alcohol hand sanitizing & rooms sprayed to sanitize. Bedding hygienically washed after each guest leaves and rooms sanitized. Beds and pillows have protectors on. (Same used in the hospitals)

Covid Safety Approved: High standard of hygiene & cleaning for safe environment of guest. Temp taken on check-in & recorded. We adhere to the industry safety protocols set out by the Tourism Business Council of SouthAfrica(TBCSA).
