About The Habit Guest House

About The Habit Guest House

The Habit is a unique building in that it was home to the Secular Sisters of Schoonstadt before being converted into a beautiful guest house. The serenity of The Habit, possibly due to all the prayers over a 60 year period, is enhanced by the high pressed ceilings, wooden floors, and beds dressed in crisp white linen.Large verandas and louvered shutters give a cooling effect in the long summer days. An eye-catching outdoor feature is a large swimming pool set in the centre of an attractive country garden, abounding with the twitter of birds. For those guests who wish

The place is beautiful, quiet and with a stunning pool. The 4 bedroom cottage was nice and spacious, kitchen a bit dated tho. They allowed my doggie, so it was very hepfulWe would definitely come back.Miriam

Well-equiped room , friendly staff, ironing of shirt. Floor-space in room somewhat limited though.

It was wonderful! Our host was so helpful, kind and very friendly! Having grown up in Worcester, it was strange not staying in parents home, but they passed away some years ago, and staying at The Habit was just as good as if I was staying at home. Many years ago my brother and I used to have music lessons there when the nuns were still there. Wonderful and thank you!

Tarrika is a very warm and hospitable hostess. She made our stay very enjoyable. The room was lovely and clean and well equipped. Having stayed here twice before, we were not disappointed in the continued excellence this B & B offers. Lovely stay and worth every cent.
