Please note that this a shared Guesthouse and that no functions, parties or load music will be tolerated unless otherwise arranged directly with the manager, Rik van Wyk. Tel. Nr. 0718790018.
Due to our quality establishment, we receive a high number of booking requests, therefore we practice a very strict booking policy. Per our booking policy we require a 100% payment in full to make a booking and we have a non refundable cancellation fee policy in place. However, we do have a grace period whereby you can cancel free of charge before your intended stay, if you booked:
- within 30minutes of making a booking or
- within 4 hours if booked 10days prior to check-in date.

Please note a few very important house rules.
-We don't allow any parties or Functions.
-We don't allow any noise.
-We don't allow any music. We like it quiet and guests to enjoy the tranquil environment. It is all in the name, The Resting View Guesthouse.
This is because we are a Shared Guesthouse and need to respect fellow guests. Some guests needs to get up very early for work etc. and we do have business and corporate clients staying at our premises.

If you did book and you do not agree to adhere to our house rules, you are very welcome to cancel free of charge within the 30minutes grace period for bookings on the same day.( See our Cancellation policy below)

We provide an easy way to make payments, via EFT.
To finalize the booking, please pay the full amount for the stay into the following bank account:


Also note that for credit card transactions, you will need to approve the OTP send by the bank to yourself within 60seconds to 2 minutes(depending on bank), so we suggest EFT but credit card deductions are welcomed, it works as long as we can get hold of you on the phone.

Cancellation Policy :
Free cancellation within 30minutes of making any booking.
We have a 4 hour grace period whereby the guest can cancel free of charge if booked 10days prior to check-in.
Forfeit 100% of Total amount paid if guest cancels 7 days prior to check-in
Forfeit 75% of Total amount paid if guest cancels 14 days prior to check-in
Forfeit 50% of Total amount paid if guest cancels 21 days prior to check-in
Forfeit 25% of Total amount paid if guest cancels 30 days prior to check-in
