The Lark is an open plan self catering studio with private entrance, covered patio and enclosed garden. This is a working farm, so day to day activities do occur.The Kitchenette is equipped, but simplistic. We included a ceiling fan for the hot summer days and electric heater / electric heating blankets for the cold winters. The Lark is an open plan self catering studio with private entrance, covered patio and enclosed garden. This is a working farm, so day to day activities do occur.

The Kitchenette is equipped, but simplistic. We included a ceiling fan for the hot summer days and electric heater / electric heating blankets for the cold winters. You also have access to Wi-Fi and Open View TV (no dstv) which is now connected to our inverter system.

The covered patio offers a four seater table and chairs to enjoy dining outside. There is also a bench to relax on. The rustic garden has a Summer Cold Shower spoil and a cosy fire pit for the traditional south African braai. We now added a bench area for extra dinging in the garden. Starter wood supplied. The Studio consist of a double bed, with an open plan kitchenette and separate bathroom with shower facility.


Please note the water is supply via gravity feed from a tower, giving sufficient pressure. We do rely on Eskom power for electricity but have a small inverter for the wi-fi, tv and cellphone or laptop charging. We do have backup lanterns and fresh bottled water. This is a working farm, so day to day activities do occur.

Unfortunately, no Pets allowed. We have three farm dogs, Roxy being a loving elderly female, crossed Alsatian and Rottweiler and Duke, a large male German Shepherd and Zena, our energetic female German Shepherd who loves to jump to say hello. We also have one roaming cat on the property.

Things to do in and around Tulbagh are Vindoux Day Spa, Crystal Cave and touring our famous Wine Estates.
