About The French Quarter Parkhurst

The French Quarter Parkhurst is situated in the gorgeous historic pre war suburb of Parkhurst. It is the hub of fine art and antiques. We are two blocks above the famous 4th Ave with all it's side walk cafés, deli's and restaurants reflecting the cuisine of Africa and further afield. An easy and safe 5 minutes' walk.

Spend your days brousing the antique shops and art galleries. Pamper yourself with a spa treatment manicure or a hair do at one of many in the area. Beautiful clothes are available at Desrays and stunning bespoke jewelry at Jade, both on 4th Ave. Or visit the Jolly Roger pub, as famous for it's pizzas as it is for its local patrons. Parkhurst is close to the business districts of Rosebank, Hyde Park and Sandton.

The Rosebank Gautrain station is 7 minutes away. Rosebank Clinic, Milpark Hospital and the Donny Gordon Hospital are all within 5-15 mins drive away. Wits University and Business School are 8 km from Hlala Panzi. Rosebank African Market is open daily. The beautiful Johannesburg Zoo and Zoo Lake is on our doorstep.

Johannesburg sight seeing tours as well as game viewing excursions further afield are gladly arranged. Airport collections and drop offs on request.
