The Barn McGregor is a self-catering unit, a quaintly rebuilt and renovated old farm shed or barn, with sash windows with shutters and dark beamed ceilings. The Barn can accommodate up to five guests and comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The Barn McGregor is a self-catering unit, a quaintly rebuilt and renovated old farm shed or barn, with sash windows with shutters and dark beamed ceilings.

The Barn can accommodate up to five guests and comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a Queen sized bed; the second bedroom contains two single beds, and the third bedroom contains a three-quarter bed. The bathroom fitted with Victorian bath on legs, a toilet and a quaint old ’Was Tafel’. There is also an outside shower. All three rooms have mosquito nets, wall-mounted heaters or oil heaters and extra blankets for cold nights, as well as an electric fan to cool down for the warmer summer nights.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, bar fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast table. The dining area has seating space for six people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite surrounding the fireplace. The unit also has a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels, and free Wi-Fi access is also provided.

Braai facilities and an outside entertainment area are available on the kitchen back stoep. The garden is lush and green with a myriad of birds visiting the bird pond and nesting in the fruit-bearing olive trees. The garden is fully fenced which makes it possible to bring your pet along, by prior arrangement. Secure on-site parking is available for 3 cars.
