South Africa boasts many beautiful places and we believe that Plettenberg Bay is the most beautiful of all. That's why we have called our house "Thanda Vista". Thanda is a widely used word for "Love" in the African languages.

Thanda Vista is an exclusive B&B establishment located minutes from the sandy beaches of Plettenberg Bay. Intimate, exclusive and private, Thanda Vista offers five luxury en-suite bedrooms; a guest lounge with a library, music centre and desk-top computer with free Wi-Fi Internet; a breakfast room with magnificent views of the bay; roof-top terraces for fantastic whale watching; and on-site parking. Your hosts, JP and Petro van der Walt, welcome you to Thanda Vista.

Watch whales while you enjoy breakfast, stroll down to the lagoon, relax on Plettenberg Bay's pristine beaches, or head out for a round of golf on any one of the Garden Route's championship golf courses. The room we had was a little on the small side but that really is the only complaint. ★★★★★ Very short stay here, but the hosts were still very nice and it was still clear that they take being good hosts very seriously and have done all of the related work (much attention to detail). The house and rooms are very nice, there is free internet which is great. Location is peaceful and convenient although not walking distance to downtown Plettenburg.
