upon our arrival we were disappointed to find that our tent was half the size of the one on your photo with only one bed. We booked 6 months ago! The food was basic but very well done and great service , we did enjoy the stay very much. Enjoyed Kulu our guide and driver , great knowledge and very helpful as we struggled a bit to get up and down the vehicle. However if we dont get the room that you offered guaranteed we will not come again as what we had to stay in was not adequate at all.

It was a wonderful stay at Tembe. The tents were clean, well equipped and comfortabel. The Tembe tribe welcome you and say good bye to you with a song. The restaurant has a new thatched roof.Everything looks very professional. The old plastic chairs don´t fit to the new outlay and hopefully they will change it in the future as well as the dark lightning.I stayed there for 3 nights and one can easily spend more days. The guides are very knowledgeable and especially Patrick is quite humorous.Staying in May is no problem at all. A little bit chilly in the morning but quite warm during the day.Cori...

The community run lodge is well managed, clean, functional, excellent food with friendly efficient staff. Overall in comparison to other game lodges in the area, this can be considered excellent value for money. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return for another visit.
