Situated in Maputaland, in North Eastern KwaZulu-Natal, Tembe is home to a rich diversity of wildlife including the Big Five and is also a bird watchers paradise. Enjoy the best of both worlds, the magnificence of a national game park, managed by KZN Wildlife, with the personal touch and service of a community run lodge.The lodge consists of luxury en-suite tented accommodation with outside showers attached to the units. A small pool to cool off, and an open camp fire area complete the picture. Cultural experiences include Zulu / Thonga dancing.Tariffs include all meals, tea & coffee and 2 daily guided 4x4 game drives. Visit Tembe for an exclusive bush experience. We were a bit disappointed in the variety of animals. No kudu, warthogs, Rhino, wild dogs. Your guide was fantastic and full of knowledge but we thought we would see more bird life.

upon our arrival we were disappointed to find that our tent was half the size of the one on your photo with only one bed. We booked 6 months ago! The food was basic but very well done and great service , we did enjoy the stay very much. Enjoyed Kulu our guide and driver , great knowledge and very helpful as we struggled a bit to get up and down the vehicle. However if we dont get the room that you offered guaranteed we will not come again as what we had to stay in was not adequate at all.
