Important Information

Wheelchair Access
We are proud to announce an addition to our wheelchair-friendly facilities at Tembe Elephant Park.
In addition to our four wheelchair-friendly rooms, the Mahlasela Hide is now wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet.
This addition is thanks to the hard work of the Tembe & Ndumo Honorary Officers group and KZNWildlife staff at Tembe.
This comment from Rajes Govender , a regular "wheelchair" visitor to Tembe,
" I don’t think I have ever been to a game reserve private or otherwise that had a wheelchair-friendly toilet out in the bush!! Well Done, I appreciate it on behalf of my community " .

Pool
The pool will be closed from mid-January for a month for removal and building a new pool.
A much needed upgrade!

We were a bit disappointed in the variety of animals. No kudu, warthogs, Rhino, wild dogs. Your guide was fantastic and full of knowledge but we thought we would see more bird life.

The food was basic but very well done and great service , we did enjoy the stay very much. Enjoyed Kulu our guide and driver , great knowledge and very helpful as we struggled a bit to get up and down the vehicle. However if we dont get the room that... Read more
