Our beach-front cabana is situated on a large private estate, which lies at the edge of the sea, offering spectacular views of False Bay and beyond. Its backdrop is the beautiful panoramic views of the ever-changing Helderberg mountains and the Hottentots Holland range.

Tamarind is a beautiful beach-front cabana offering luxury self-catering facilities for up to four guests. There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom, which can be double or twin beds, has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom and it has its own shower-room across the hallway.

There is a large open-plan living/dining area and kitchen with two sets of sliding doors opening onto the garden, which then leads directly onto the beach. Outside there is a patio and private garden overlooking the sea and the Cape beyond. The patio is partially covered by a pergola which also has horizontal and vertical blinds for sun shade and to keep the house cool in the height of summer.

There is no road or other buildings in front of the cabana (unlike the rest of Strand), so you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea and the Cape beyond. The sunsets are often magnificent!

There is a covered parking area next to the house, and to the rear of the property is a communal swimming pool and gardens, with a braai area by the pool, which makes an ideal spot for supper. We are not able to have a private braai area at our house, sadly. There is a communal laundry facility which is always quiet.

Please note that there is Open View HD TV and we have fast fibre internet. Electricity is not included as it is on a pre-pay basis that can be topped up during your stay - around R150 per week should be sufficient. Also please note that a fee of R80 is payable on arrival for the access pass to the Greenways Estate.

N.B. Rentals of our lovely cabana are for a minimum of 28 days, as imposed by the rules of our Body Corporate.
