We’re located midway between Johannesburg and the Kruger national park (only 1.5 hours’ drive from Pretoria or Johannesburg). Luxurious and spacious, our modern 3 bedroom house can comfortably sleep 8 people. You will have a large, private area all to yourself only a stone’s throw from the river. The main bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom straight from your dreams. The second bedroom can be customised to your needs, you can choose between another king size bed or two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds. We also have a sleeper couch in the common area to accommodate 2 more guests. The second bathroom is shared between bedrooms 2 and 3 with a separate toilet.
We have plenty of cupboard space for longer stays and a luggage rack for comfort on shorter stays. We have a spacious, open plan kitchen with a double oven and large breakfast nook. The kitchen comes furnished with a fridge, microwave, utensils and kettle (coffee, sugar, tea and milk provided). Enjoy your night in the spacious lounge with our board games, card games and Netflix if you’re feeling cosy or relax around the fire with our braai facilities under cover of indigenous trees.
With so many things to do, you’ll be spoiled with choices! We have the amazing 3.5 hour cycad trail along the top of the hill (of medium difficulty), a challenging bicycle trail dotted with proteas and surrounded by green bushveld, a meandering river perfect for swimming, splashing, fishing and access to an indoor swimming pool.
Our accommodation also has Wi-Fi and Netflix for a cosy night in. And the best part? These are all for your enjoyment, free of charge! In the nearby vicinity there is a restaurant with bar facilities and two small tuck shops for basic items.
Presidentsrus is a small, peaceful holiday community where kids can safely play and enjoy the wide outdoors where you can encounter small wildlife, a multitude of bird species, kudus, klip springers and duikers. For added peace of mind the property’s perimeter is walled with a motorised gate and double garage door. Additional parking is available within the secure area.
