About Swellendam Country Lodge

Swellendam Country Lodge is an accredited 4-star accommodation providing you excellent service! The owners, Jan & Vivianne Bruijn, and their enthusiastic team will ensure you of an unforgettable and highly comfortable stay. The lodge has 6 elegant and comfortably styled rooms with quality beds made up with pure cotton linen. The rooms are situated in a beautiful large, lush, tropical garden. Each room has their own private patio for you to enjoy some quiet time, surrounded by fruit trees that attract all sorts of African birds. The large, secluded swimming pool with sundeck complete with sun loungers and umbrellas is situated in the back of the garden (pool towels provided). The guests may also show off their athletic skills on the unique Boules-court (boules balls provided). The lodge and its rooms breath a relaxing and warm atmosphere and are designed to make you feel most comfortable.

★★★★★ Lovely place to stay, very friendly helpful hostess. Room very nice except the cupboard is to small. It houses the fridge and a few dry items and my husband unpacks his whole suitcase, so there is no space for me, especially if one stays more than one day. Big bonus is that our car was cleaned before we left. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay there again.

Location was excellent and easy to find. We received a warm welcome on our arrival. We stayed in a luxury room which had a huge bathroom, so welcomed at the end of a day of driving.
