Welcome to Dwarriega Cottage, named after the enchanting Droe-Dwarriega river that meanders gracefully past the property. On fortunate occasions, after a spell of rainfall, you may witness the river flowing in all its splendor, teeming with lively tadpoles and the vibrant energy of life. As the river tells its own tale, Poortjies Cottage pays homage to the picturesque Poortjieskloofdam, situated just a stone's throw away towards Barrydale. The stones used to construct the dam wall were sourced from our very own land, and remnants of the old quarry can still be seen, creating a lush sanctuary of nature's abundance.

Nestled in the heart of the renowned R62, between Montagu and Barrydale, lies Suidster - a sanctuary sprawled across 110 hectares of untouched fynbos at the foot of the majestic Langeberg mountains.
