Steynshoop is a luxury self-catering lodge, beautifully situated on an elevated site in the scenic Magaliesberg valley near Hekpoort, with superb views of the magnificent mountain range and of the valley.
This unique lodge, just an hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, falls within a world heritage site and comprises nine luxury en-suite bedrooms. The venue can also be hired for small conferences.
The property has extensive natural game including bushbuck, nyala, mountain reedbuck, baboons, monkeys, kudu, warthog and leopard.
The Lodge has a gorgeous chapel and function hall. The chapel is thatched, traditionally styled and can seat 150 people. The function hall can be used for wedding receptions. Smaller weddings, the pool-side gazebo, can be used for up to 80 people.
The Royal Room is a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art conference facility with sweeping views of the Magaliesberg Range. Accommodating up to 12 delegates, The Royal Room provides an ideal facility for training and strategy sessions.
The Lodge has tennis courts, volleyball and badminton facilities, a croquet lawn and implements, boules set, a full-size billiard table and bows, arrows and an archery target range for use by guests.

Important Information
We require a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, with the balance payable on arrival. Provisional bookings are held for 24 hours. If payment has not been made within these 24 hours, kindly contact us to confirm availability for the requested dates again before making payment.
The rooms are serviced once a day. Should extra services be requested a service charge will be asked. Please enquire at reception for pricing.
Guests may normally check-in at or after 3 p.m. Check out time for guests is by 11 a.m. on the day of departure, to allow time for the units to be cleaned for the next guest's check-in time. By prior arrangement (and subject to availability), this may be extended to 5 p.m. on the day of departure.
