The Steenbok Plaas Kothuise are luxurious self-catering cottages situated on a 65-hectare working Farm and Game Park, at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains, between the towns of Tulbagh and Ceres. Only 1 hour and 30 minutes from Cape Town, it is a comfortable scenic drive after a long week’s work or even n quick mid-week break.With all the facilities and amenities you need for a well-deserved break, these cottages will impress you with luxurious finishes and breathtaking views of the Witzenberg Mountains. Each cottage has its own private wood-fired hot tub/splash pool.

Pet Policy:
Pets sleep on their beds, not ours” Whilst we warmly welcome your pets, please adhere to the following, as agreed upon at the time of confirmed booking. If the linen or scatter cushions or blankets are soiled to such an extent that it cannot be cleaned, this will be at the pet owners 'expense'. Damage due to chewing will also incur replacement/repair costs. These costs will be claimed after guests depart, once the property has been inspected. When walking your pets, they must be on a leash at all times. Do not leave your pets unattended for long periods of time, to prevent them from barking and disturbing other guests.
Additional Extras: The first bag of wood is complimentary, more to purchase @ R25 per bag. Please deposit the money into the ‘honesty wooden box' on the microwave. Fynbos Shower gel, Shampoo and conditioner in the dispensers. Feel free to use. One block of dishwasher detergent per day stay. Dish washing liquid and sponges under kitchen zinc. Coffee, tea and sugar in containers in the kitchen, as well as 250ml milk and rusks.
We supply bath towels. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
For stays longer than 4 nights, we do a complimentary house clean, and linen swap on the 5th day.
Any damage is to be disclosed to the owner.
No loud noise or music allowed.
No smoking inside.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total. If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total. If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the booking total.
