Important Information

All rates are room rates only, St Ives doesn’t offer breakfast- Piggly Wiggly is just across the driveway and opens daily from 8am

Rooms are not self-catering. There is a tea/coffee station in each room however the rooms are not equipped for self-catering. Each room has a small bar size fridge, microwave and toaster and basic crockery and cutlery. No cooking equipment or utensils are provided.

Standard and Luxury Rooms only accommodate a maximum of 2 people

The 4 sleeper units only accommodate a maximum of 4 people

Children < 4 years of age can stay free of charge provided that no bed/cot/towels or extra linen is required

Children > 4 years of age comprise the maximum number of people in the room

Children > 4 years old who will be sharing with 2 adults will be charged for at R 180 per night

Generator: In The case of load shedding/a power outage, the generator will be switched on between 7:00 and 10:00 and again between 17:00 and 22:00

Business traveler and long stay rates can be negotiated with the lodge manager

★★★★★ The Air conditioner in the room was not working on the heat setting. There was no milk or creamer at the coffee station

★★★★★ I would ask that you improve on 3 things my bed was noisy every turn it went screeching, shower could not balance cold and hot water you either had to bath with cold or hot water please attend to your mixer especially in the shower. Please also invest in ironing boards we were told you do not have one.

★★★★★ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at St Ives Lodge. We came down for Midmar and the lodge is conveniently close to the dam and all the "go to" restaurants and coffee shops. The room is spacious, well appointed and very clean. Unfortunately, the WiFi was not working and no cleaning service available over the weekend.
