About Slaley Country House

Slaley Country House is situated at the foot of the Simonsig mountain on a wine farm, only 4 km from the outskirts of Stellenbosch and 8 km from down town.

All 7 rooms are uniquely decorated and each room is ideal for the business traveler that is looking for some peace and relaxation after a hectic day, or a romantic couple that wants to spend some quality time together, or the random tourist that is looking to stay away from the city hustle and need the tranquility and peace of nature.

Enjoy our big pool, play tennis, or visit our cellar for a wine tasting and our bistro for some great lunch dishes. During the summer season you can also order a picnic on the grass or a BBQ basket with everything you will need to enjoy a great braai. All you need to do is open a good bottle of our delicious wine, relax and put your meat on the grid.

We do require a R350 CASH security deposit, returnable upon check out. Please make arrangements for an early check out if necessary.
A R250 late check in fee will apply to all arrivals after 7.30pm that is not arranged and approved in advance.
All guests are requested to accept the house rules at the time of booking.
Full payment can be done at the time of booking or arrival. Not at check out only.
Guest accept to adhere to breakfast- and departure time and early check out or breakfast must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.
Each room is allowed 4 visit between 11:00 and 18:00. Guest's visitors may not use the pool or tennis court and must respect that our other guests are here to relax.
Quiet time is 10pm
