Garden Lodge
Our individually styled Garden Lodge Rooms are located between our stunning garden, authentically furnished in Zanzibar style. They are all air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms, a guard-robe and private terraces.
Sea View Cottage Double and Sea View Cottage Family
Our sea view cottages are spacious en-suite rooms, built in keeping with traditional Zanzibari styles of architecture with airy, wood-beamed ceilings, large windows, ceiling fans and air conditioning (master bedroom). All have traditionally carved wooden Zanzibari beds, with beautiful mosquito net canopies and matching batik bed covers, along with coconut wood wall mirrors and other hand-made teak wood furniture.
Monsoon Villa
Our 2 Villas are set on the crest of the hill, apart from the hotel's main guest rooms. Each villa is laid out on 3 floors with 2 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), a roof terrace and a private swimming pool with out outdoor shower set amidst a tropical garden. They are furnished with stunning traditional Zanzibar furniture and batik linen. From the roof of the villa, panoramic 360-degree views sweeping across the coral reef and the island interior can be enjoyed from the many sitting areas.
The guests can choose between different areas where to spend and enjoy their holiday. Infinity pool facing the Ocean from the top of the Promontory; a comfortable pillow decorated in Zanzibar style in our lounge, or taking the sun under a typical banda in a white tropical beach in front of the Indian Ocean.
If you would like to discover the area of Kiwengwa, we have a free service of renting bicycles for our guests.
Our restaurant, main bar and beach bar are open all day long to satisfy the requests of our guests. Shooting Star Lodge is also a SPA, which can provide different massages in a relaxing area facing the Ocean.
We can provide laundry services and provide our guests with electrical adapters and hair dryers.
