Important Information
Serenity Beach House – Reservation Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
A reservation is confirmed once proof of payment for the deposit or full amount is received.
Quotes are valid for 48 hours and are subject to availability at the time of payment.
2. Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
The balance is payable no later than 7 days prior to arrival.
Last-minute bookings (within 7 days of arrival) require full payment upfront.
3. Breakage Deposit
A R1500 refundable breakage/security deposit is required on arrival (cash or EFT).
This will be refunded within 24 hours after check-out, provided no damages or losses are found.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: From 14:00 to 20:00
Check-out: Strictly by 10:00
Late check-in after 20:00 incurs a R500 call-out fee.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival: Full refund
Cancellations made 7–14 days before arrival: 50% refund
Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival: No refund
No-shows will be charged the full booking amount
6. House Rules
No smoking indoors
No fireworks (nature reserve)
No loud music – please respect our wildlife and neighbours
Guests must leave the property in a reasonable condition. Excessive mess may result in an extra cleaning charge of R350.
7. Guest Numbers
The number of guests may not exceed the number booked for without prior approval. Extra guests may incur additional charges or cancellation of the stay.
8. Liability
The owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or personal property during your stay. Guests enter and stay at their own risk.
