Important Information
Booking cancellation terms:
Bookings arriving 01 February - 30 November
For bookings outside of the peak season period, the following cancellation terms apply:
• Less than 7 days before arrival – forfeit 100% of the booking
• Less than 14 days before arrival – forfeit 75% of the booking
• Less than 21 days before arrival – forfeit 50% of the booking
• Less than 28 days before arrival – forfeit 25% of the booking
• More than 29 days before the arrival date – forfeit 0% of the booking (fully refundable, subject to refund fee)
In the event of a no-show or premature departure, guests will be charged for the full length of stay as per the original booking, regardless of season.
Bookings arriving 01 December – 31 January (peak season)
All bookings with a stay date falling between 01 December and 31 January are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the date of cancellation. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or early departures during this period.
Booking amendments for peak season bookings:
Any amendment to a booking, including but not limited to changes in stay dates, room type, or length of stay, does not alter the original cancellation policy applicable at the time of booking. Bookings originally made for stay dates between 01 December and 31 January remain non-refundable, regardless of any subsequent changes to dates falling outside of this period.
Seal Point Lighthouse reserves the right to treat any amendment request for a peak season booking as a cancellation, in which case the original non-refundable policy will apply. Date amendments for peak season bookings may be declined at management’s discretion.
Sunset sundowners (applicable to Lighthouse wing guests only):
By partaking in the sunset sundowners experience, guests automatically acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined in the associated Lighthouse tour indemnity waiver. Guests who do not agree to these terms must refrain from participating in this activity.
Damages:
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, including but not limited to rooms, furnishings, and common areas, whether intentional or accidental. Seal Point Lighthouse reserves the right to seek compensation from the guest for repair, replacement, or excessive cleaning costs. Any damages should be reported to hotel management immediately. Failure to cover such costs may result in further action being taken.
